Cong's 19

Hey I'm back!!!
Hahahah it's been only a day since my last update. xD
As you can guess from the title, it's Ying Cong's birthday surprise!
His birthday is on 21 January, but we gave him a surprise on the 24th.
It was a simple surprise: buying a cake and deliver it to his house without him knowing.
Fian lied to him by jio-ing him to play pool, at 11pm. Hahaha 11pm??
Cong then told him that he can go have dinner with his classmates first, that's when Fian panicked & said, 'no no no eat at home'.

It was kinda messy because we meet later than the agreed time. Poor Serene reached on time at CWP so I called her over to my house.
When was the last time I see her...
She's that kind of good & close friend, when we didn't meet often but when we see each other, we don't feel weird or awkward. In fact, we blabber on each other.
We update on each other and talked like, non-stop. She's someone who I'm very comfortable with ♥ (I hope you cry when you read this you bitch)
So we stayed till it's time and headed to CWP to buy a cake for Cong.
Fian, Eve & Jiahong met us and we're off to Cong's house!

He was shocked to see us with the birthday cake xD
Thank goodness we bought a small cake that is enough to feed us all + his mother.

We had a very long chat in his house.
Serene haven't been seeing us for a long time (not in years but yah) so she started a 'who changed the most' convo topic.
In terms of personality lah, not looks. But I think it's hard for someone to change?
Unless he/she experience something devastating or mix with bad company or some sort?
Oh goodness I need to be more philosophical I want to know the study of humans.
Wafir joined us after we cut the cake.. He arrived in his fixie and sang the Chinese version of 'Happy Birthday' in slow-mo. We replied back in a China accent, 'who's that? Wrong house! Go away!'
Ahhh.. I love this gang.

Then.. we got into photo snapping mode.

So it was getting quite late for some of us, so Eve & Wafir went home, while Fian, Cong, Jiahong & I sent Serene off to the MRT station.

After Serene left, the 4 of us went to grab supper at Woodlands Checkpoint.
It was a simple supper with the guys!

18.

A very good morning everyone.
I should have waken up at 8am+ so that I have more time in the day to do whatever I wanna complete.
But oh well, this timing is still acceptable I guess.

Cut to the chase, yesterday was my 18th birthday. :)
I have to attend my CCA's Handover Ceremony in school cum mentoring workshop.
It was pretty long, but ended earlier than stated.
I was feeling disappointed somehow.. but I did not let it affect my emotion :D
Strangely none of my Carpenters wished me a happy birthday in the Whatsapp group... I felt dejected...
But there was a reason behind it :D

They surprised me w a huge birthday card w birthday wishes written by all of them!!!
There was Big Bang & 2NE1 pictures in it, A BIG THANK YOU TO AISHAH!!
They really did a good acting, I mean they were among themselves & I felt an energy that they doesn't want to talk to me. So I talked to Jill & Karise.

When the ceremony was over, Aishah wants to go shopping & jio me out after the event has ended.
I have no known plans on my day, no movie date, dinner date, whatever. :D
Then I was talking to Jill & Karise, then they ask about my day. I started tearing... It's nothing to be ashamed of, really. :D
Let's just say big expectations leads to big disappointments :D

When my Carpenters surprised me with a birthday song, I can't help but shed tears of JOY xD

After that Aishah, Jillian, Karise, Nicholas, Andrew, Mingwei, Audrey & I headed to Cineleisure for lunch (more like tea break actually).
When we finished our food, the guys went to the toilet, a really long toilet break too.
Then they came back with a Starbucks cake.
Andrew damn cute sia, he just placed the cake in front of me, without saying anything, and went back to his seat.
I guess it was awkward there hahahahah.
I thought they just wanted to spend time with me in *scape, I didn't know they were going to buy a cake!
Next we went to Playnation and play!!
OMGOSH PLAY!!
But only Nicholas, Andrew & I played - the only station left was Wii.
We played Guitar Heroes, but it suck because the drum set was not sensitive & I am bad at playing the guitar.
So we played er, Mario Kart!
My all-time favourite!!
It was really hilarious playing with the guys, because all sorts of funny remarks came out. xD
We changed another game to Super Mario Brawl.
I SUCK AT IT.
I didn't even win them, I kept dying & self-destructing.
But it's fun!!
We got tired and left before our time is up.
It was a really fun day for me :D

Once again, I blogged this to show my appreciation to my fellow Carpenters who put in effort for my birthday, thank you!!!

At night, I had a long heart-to-heart talk with my Mother.
I learnt a lot & realised so many things.
Maybe I should stop putting people before myself because they are not doing the same.
My mother was right, in the end, I am the one who is hurt the most.

Today is a day where I am the main individual ><

First off I overslept so I had no choice but to attend the second & last lecture of the day.
It was a really funny morning, it wasn't on purpose :T (I told myself I'll revise what I've learn & what I've missed after school but I didn't touch the papers oops)
Law was interesting, my attention was on Mr Ong & I didn't doze off. Good job.
POM was... let's just say I lay on the table instead of checking Twitter during break.
And then there's PTM. (Personal Tutor Meeting)
Jillian & gang was not in class during PTM so Ms Liew was not able to start. She needs everyone to be in class.
I was kinda annoyed because I want it to end quickly so I can go home & nap.
Suddenly, the room went blackout.

" Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Zenna, happy birthday to you! "
I. DON'T. KNOW. HOW. TO. REACT.
I was in speechless & at the same time moved to almost tears. Funny why I didn't cry...
My classmates bought me a fruit cake to celebrate my advance birthday :D
It was unexpected I swear. When I came to school my I didn't even think about whether my classmates had remembered my birthday because we known each other for less than a year.
But they got a cake!
I felt teary, but I didn't cry; I felt overjoyed, but I didn't jump.

I am blessed to have them as my classmates.
I wanna thank you all for the efforts & thoughts into putting this 'act' for me!!
It was foolproof I promise.
Thank you my dear DEPM 06!! I will never forget today!! THANK YOU!! ♥

So then little did I know there was something else waiting for me..
Ong asked me out for dinner at a kopitiam near my house. So I did some of my work before I meet her.
I was about to change when Da Jie called me, asking me to open my house door.
What?
So I opened, & I got snow-sprayed.
GEE!!! WHAT A SURPRISE!!!
Ong & Da Jie were partners in crime oh man.
They bought for me birthday pizzas with 18 candles!!! *Touched to tears*
We ate & talked & laughed.
It has been ages since the 3 of us were together. Sisters.

We have already reached the highest level of what you call 'closeness'.

We talked, chatted, snap (damn loads of) pictures, goofing around, eating and I helped paint Da Jie's nails :)
And the present they gifted me was very sweet until I can get diabetes (just kidding).
It was one-of-a-kind you can say :)
