Year 1 is over. Level Year 2: Unlocked

Hey hey you you!
My exams are f*cking over!!!!!!!!!!!
It ended on the 27th of February, so I celebrate the end of exams & Year 1 with Ong (Eve).
(Sorry Karise, Marz & MM I couldn't join you all..)
She wanted to visit IT Show to (hopefully) get a camera for herself but she didn't in the end. Maybe because no camera caught her eye.
But before we went to IT Show 2014, we stopped at Food & Beverage Fair 2014 to grab some lunch.
Also because the shuttle bus service was located at Suntec City. So we thought, why not go see what good food the event offers. I've been to several Food Fairs and all of them didn't disappoint me.
I have 1 post about it, it's over here. (Sorry there wasn't many foodos)

I expected like the usuals exotic food and hard to find in Singapore kind of delicacies.. But it was not..
There were many old people. Like really a lot, maybe because the products are targeting at elderly (which I think it is).
Some random foodos:

Look at that mini cupcakes!!!
But what the hell - cupcakes are already mini cakes, and there's mini mini cakes.
Looks pretty on the outside, not sure about the inside taste (Sia lah like Tumblr quote)

So we end up eating otahs & this Chee Cheong Fun:

The sauce is really unique and different from all the other Chee Cheong Fun in Coffee Shop.

You know the typical sauce is black & sticky? This is totally not. It's curry-coloured and it's a mixture of sweet & salty. I'd say sweet : salty is 6:4 . It's really delicious (you can tell by how clean the bowl is we're like dogs licking off the residue).
I give it a 4/5.

So that's all for F&B Fair.

IT Show 2014 was also.. I dunno. Not a lot of consumers were there & there are many empty spaces. Maybe because it's the 1st day so not many vendors?
We left shortly lah, because she couldn't find any camera she like.
Since the event is in MBS, Eve wanted to check out the Bath & Body Works, which, according to her, recently opened in Singapore.
I must say, their price is -whoa-. (Not surprising I mean, MBS is basically rich people's CWP. I could barely part my money to buy a bottle of mineral water. What, a bottle of distilled water cost $4?! Dude I can buy proper food from kopitiam leh. Is it royal water or spring water from Jeju?? Not worth it = won't buy it.)

We decided to settle down to chill & have some tea, so we went to TWG..
It feel so good. The chairs were so luxurious and comfy, the ambience is relaxing. Their service is also excellent.
Coffee or tea, I'm a Tea Person. So I'm so glad we stopped by TWG.
They have SOOOOOOO MANY CHOICES. I WAS SPOILT FOR CHOICE.
I couldn't decide on:

Geisha Blossom Tea & Sexy Tea. There names captured my attention (but the price turn me off but enjoy good tea once in a while is okay.   ....right?)
But in the end I chose:

There there chio bu

First Kiss Flower Tea.
I did Chinese Cuisine for my F&B module, and we have to come up with the menu.
My group chose flower tea as the beverage & we included the video of the blooming tea when we presented.
I thought I was able to witness the flower bloom & that would make my life 1% complete, but NOOOOO.
IT CAME AFTER IT BLOOMED.
The flower was suppose to bloom like this:

So, so, so, so disappointed. *Sigh*
Never mind the action, the tea was mmMM!
It was refreshing & not too strong. When I first sip, I said, 'oh my I feel like my first kiss was taken away'.
:youseewhatIdidthere:

We chilled for a while, talking & laughing, before we went to Clarke Quay.
The sun was directed to the bus window, and we quickly took the chance & snapped some pictures! (Female instincts; it's in our blood, can't blame us)

(Okay the sun + photo effects.)
I was in an elated mood yesterday, because it's finally holidays.
Eve wanted to eat at a Japanese restaurant, we had a hard time finding it but we found it in the end. (Yay!)
This is what I ordered:

Udon in Japanese style (or some sort) and it was really, REALLY, DEAD SEA SALTY.
When I started eating, it taste not too bad. But as I proceed, really cannot take it. I didn't finish the food because it was that SALTY (I don't waste food if you know me).
There was this, I think is Tau Pok, I couldn't bite is off so I stuffed the whole piece in my mouth. And you know Tau Pok is like a sponge; it absorbs water/soup/gravy.
So when I chew, IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF SALT I CONSUMED OH MY GOODNESS.
Damn it. I forced myself to have straight face. I can't possible puke it out, so I just swallow.
That f*cking piece of Tau Pok is worth at least 5 cups of instant noodle combined.
I gave it a 2/5. Thank goodness I bought a Mocktail to calm my liver.

So.

What's a celebration without drinking?
You know Clarke Quay is filled with bars/lounges/pubs but we couldn't settle on a spot to drink.
In the end we chilled at Wings.

Kind foreigner initiate to help us take a photo. Thank you random man!
It's very comforting to spill whatever you're bottling inside to someone you can trust. who is close to you, who you know can keep secrets.
It was a day well spent :)

Before I go, here's a fabulous (no I'm kidding...) picture of me:

Avril Lavigne tour

Hey guys! How have you been doing??
I'm in the midst of having tests & exams so I'm busy this & next week.
(Btw I'm blogging from the Blogger app so I can't highlight the words with colours so pardon the boringness)
I wanna take the time to talk about that crazy night on the 15 of February!!
It was the day when Avril Lavigne came to Singapore for as 1 of the stop in her tour!!! I was so overjoyed when I heard the news but comtemplating whether I should go because I have no one to go with. Fortunately, Amelia was very on & went with me!!
I was mad excited & bought the tickets & counting down to the date. We went there early hoping to be in the front (we got tickets for moshpit) but we end up in the center, which is alright.
While waiting for time to pass, we brought notes to study for the upcoming test (sucha spoiler but rather use that time to do something productive than using up my phone battery
In the end we got tired of AVS & chit-chatted till it's time to rock.

We sorta made new friends, but not considered friends. Just happen to converse a little.
I realised that people in the same fandom are so friendly towards each other! That day, 4 Little Black Stars (LBS) smiled at me!
& during 2NE1's world tour, a fellow Blackjack offered me a piece of sandwich. (I was there alone)
So nice!!

My heart was already thumping when the everyone stood up, ready to enter the hall.
The indoor stadium was filled with fans, it was CRAZY.
I decided not to take any photos because I wanna enjoy myself & give my attention to Avril.
Imagine holding both your hands up to take photos, you can't wave your hands or do the \m/ sign.
Rocking your hands is already tiring enough, I had to switch arms.

I was jumping & singing out loud, along with the other LBS.

Then there's this 1 time when the crowd was silent & the band stopped playing, I took my chance & yelled to Avril, 'AVRIL YOU'RE SO HOT!!!!!!'
I think she heard me because she smiled! I can see her teeth wide!! *fangirl melts*

I really hate it when it comes to encore... Because the concert was coming to an end.. :(
The last song was 'I'm With You', a sad song... Go listen to it.
The best & emotional part of this song is when she points out the mic to the fans, & WE ALL SANG OUT HEARTS OUT. Not even Avril, not even the band sing, they just watched us sing.
The part goes: It's a damn cold night. Tryna figure out this life. Won't you, take me by the hand take me somewhere new, i don't know who you are, but I, I'm with you'

It was emotional, heart-warming. I love it.
Did I memtioned I cried thrice during the concert? When she appeared, when she sang 'Complicated' & that last part.
She is my childhood heroine. I listened to her songs when I was in primary school & I tried following her fashion style. ><
She is a vampire; she don't age. Or at least, age backwards.
I love you Avril, you are always our mother f*cking Princess.

Cherish your love ones

Good morning guys! It's so not-me to be up in the morning blogging right?
Well actually I used to wake up around 9am~10am when there's no school but my body clock has changed so it's 11am++ now.
The reason why I woke up early is because I know that if I don't blog now, I don't have anymore free time.

As you all know... Yesterday was Valentine's Day!
Can you feel the love in the air (yesterday)?
I can :)

I celebrate Valentine's Day with Cong, he brought me out for a dinner at Genki Sushi.
It was my first time there & I was so suaku because the food is being delivery by automated trains!
Small ones lah. The service was fast! I like. x)

So we began ordering & whenever the food arrived, I would take pictures of it. I don't always take pictures of food but when I do, it's because the day was special.

While waiting for seats outside the restaurant. (Urgh I hate the size of the photos!! Prefer my S2)
They only left with counter seats so we had our dinner there, it was pretty nice :)
Enough of the words, let me spam the foodos:

This cost less than $2 & it's free-flow! You can add your desired amount of green tea powder.
It's nice too (For people who likes natural green tea)
Ours was not a train but a racing car... It'll do.

My must-have whenever I eat in a sushi restaurant. This picture is not my style; I mimic Cong's way of taking foodos.
Now this is my style xD YUMMMMM
Not sure why they put it in a Hello Kitty plate
Chawanmushi!
Scallop. I didn't ate this.
This too.
This is duck meat. Rather creative because I always thought the topping is always seafood.
This taste not too bad
Cong's crab-meat chawanmushi. Look like Shark Fin's but the original one taste better.
Tuna mm-MM
The first time I tried this. Not a fan..
Hi
It was a very filling dinner, because of all the rice and all. (Gosh all the carbo & sugar).

Overall, I will rate this restaurant a 4/5. Fast, efficient, delicious, friendly staff.
The not-so-good thing about it is that it is very hard to eat at the counter. So that's all. :)

We walked around Cineleisure & I got 2 new nail polishes... I needed them okay, I realised I don't have grey so I got 2 different shades.
Last stop at Bugis Street because we both wanna look for our stuff, then we took a bus back home.
Thankfully there's a direct bus from Bugis Street to my house xD

Oh & guess what guys??
I'M GOING TO AVRIL LAVIGNE'S CONCERT LATER!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
I CAN'T WAIT MAN WOOHOO!!!
Is anyone of you attending too??
I can't wait to rock & roll with the mother f*cking princess!
Byeeee! \m/

Thank you for bringing me out for dinner, it was really nice. :)
I love the rose too ^-^
